Floods affect 55 Lac People in Pakistan

Monsoon floods in Pakistan have killed 499 people Last Month and affected more than 55 Lac, according to the latest figures from the government's disaster relief agency.Pakistan suffered devastating floods in the past three years, including the worst in its history in 2010 when catastrophic inundations across the country killed almost 1,900 people and affected 22 million. More than 1.1 million acres of crops were affected by the floods Sep,2012. Accordingly Punjab Provincial Govt,80 flood affected villages of Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan have been declared as calamity-hit,the villages which have declared as calamity-hit include 65 of Rajanpur and 15 of Dera Ghazi Khan.
